Summer is a great time for students to catch up or get ahead on their high school educations. BVSD offers several options for earning credits during the summer break:

Credit Recovery Courses
Arapahoe Campus Summer School (located at 6600 East Arapahoe Road in Boulder) is the primary physical location for students to retake a course in a classroom setting for full or partial credit, due to a failing grade. Credit Recovery courses are also offered online through BVSD Online Summer School.

Full Semester Courses
For students who would like to free up some room in next year’s schedule, a wide variety of other courses are also available through BVSD Online Summer School. PE, Health and Computer courses are offered in a classroom setting at Fairview and Centaurus high schools locations.

Students interested in taking summer school courses (whether at Arapahoe Campus, CHS, FHS or online) should consult their school counselor before enrolling.

The Family Learning Center
Another summer school option is at The Family Learning Center which (in partnership with BVSD) offers online classes in a structured environment that provides students with high speed internet access, small group instruction and one-on-one tutoring. This alternative summer school site is located at 3164 34th Street in Boulder.
