The IRS has announced the 2011 contribution limits for tax-deferred savings plans:

  • 401(k)/403(b) combined limit:  $16,500
  • 457(b) limit:  $16,500

PLEASE NOTE:  The 2011 limits are the same as the 2010 limits.

Employees age 50 and over are eligible to contribute an additional $5,500, increasing each limit to $22,000.

If you want to change your 401(k) or 403(b) monthly contribution, please fill out this form and send to the Payroll Office by the 20th of the month.

To change your 457(b) monthly contribution, call 1-877-816-0548 option 3, OR go online to www.educatorsmoney.com.  As a reminder, changes must be completed the month prior to the change taking effect.
